The orchestra
The VUSO (Verenigd Utrechts Symfonie Orkest: United Utrecht Symphony Orchestra) is an amateur orchestra for all ages. We play mainly classical music and film music, among other genres.
Join us!
We are always looking for new players. There is no audition procedure, but we do have a try out period to see if there’s a mutual match. Enjoying playing music together is the most important to us.
Currently we have vacancies for cello, double bass, horn, two trumpets, a timpanist, a percussionist, viola and violin.
You are very welcome to join our rehearsal on Thursday night from 20:00 to 22:15h. If you let us know you are coming, we will send you the sheet music beforehand.
